Summary: The Interim Regulatory Programme Manager will oversee regulatory workstreams in a high-profile nuclear development programme, focusing on Generic Design Assessment (GDA) processes. This role requires hands-on experience in the nuclear industry to ensure regulatory milestones are met according to programme timelines. The position is based in Liverpool or London, with a requirement for one day a week in the office. The contract is for 12 months and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, structure, and oversight for the delivery of regulatory elements within a complex nuclear programme, with a focus on the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process.
- Ensure programme and Project Management tools and techniques are deployed and utilised where appropriate.
- Ensure appropriate governance arrangements are in place and well supported.
- Drive the alignment of regulatory activity with broader programme timelines and deliverables.
- Secure the resource and budget required to deliver the agreed scope.
- Monitor and report on delivery performance to support effective governance.
- Recent, demonstrable experience managing GDA-related activities within the UK nuclear sector.
- SC Clearance is required.
