Summary: The role involves supporting the Director of Finance at a large education charity as an interim qualified accountant, focusing on management accounting tasks such as month-end processes, financial analysis, and commentary. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director of Finance in management accounting tasks.
• Handle month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and pre-payments.
• Assist in the production of monthly management accounts.
• Monitor monthly performance against budget.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary.
• Support the Director of Finance with additional tasks as required.

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
• Experience in education, schools, or charity sectors preferred.
• Public sector experience considered.
