Summary: The Interim Project Manager - Technical role in London involves collaborating with the Programme Manager to oversee a programme of minor and major works within an educational estate. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice on property and construction across a range of capital projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Be responsible for defining the scope of a project and for its design, procurement, delivery, and successful handover from beginning to end.
- Be responsible for the project budget, financial approvals and control, reporting, and administration of project finances.
- Be responsible for regular progress reporting on each assigned project, managing successful delivery to specification, time, and budget.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a local authority, managing similar budgets.
- Relevant project management experience within schools and local authorities is preferred.
- A diploma or equivalent in a related discipline, or relevant experience in a similar position.
- Valid enhanced DBS check for working in schools.
- Valid driving licence and DVLA check.
