Summary: The Interim Project Manager role involves leading complex transformation projects within a hybrid working environment in Ealing. The position requires a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering large-scale transformation programmes and influencing senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective governance. This is a 12-month interim contract classified as outside IR35, offering a competitive day rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of complex, high-impact transformation and change projects across the organisation
- Manage multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives
- Develop integrated project plans, managing risks, dependencies, and delivery priorities effectively
- Establish and maintain strong governance, reporting, and project control processes
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving accountability
- Lead cross-functional working groups and project teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes
- Monitor project budgets, delivery performance, risks, and benefits realisation
- Ensure business change is effectively embedded, working collaboratively with operational teams and stakeholders
- Produce high-quality reporting and insight for senior leadership and governance forums
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance delivery, processes, and customer outcomes
Key Skills:
- Significant experience delivering large-scale transformation, change, or operational improvement projects
- Prince2 Practitioner (or equivalent) qualification
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong experience managing project governance, risks, budgets, and delivery performance
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and change management principles
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across business areas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently
- Experience within housing, property, public sector, or regulated environments (desirable, not essential)
