Summary: The role of Interim Project Accountant involves reviewing and implementing improvements to financial processes and controls within a division of a global services group based in Warrington. Reporting to the Managing Director and Finance Director, the accountant will work with a small finance team and utilize Sage software to enhance data flow and reporting accuracy. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement and is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension. Candidates should have broad accounting experience from SME businesses and be available to start in March 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and implement improvements to financial processes and controls.
- Utilize Sage finance software for accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, payroll, management accounts, and reporting.
- Enhance the flow and quality of data for accurate monthly reporting to the Group.
- Support other projects within the site.
