Summary: Anderson Knight is seeking a Qualified Accountant for a 12-18 month contract to support process improvement and implementation within a new Finance team in Glasgow. The role involves detailed project analysis, financial reporting, and compliance, while providing support to the Finance Manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of new processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Provide regular updates to management on project performance, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
- Detailed project analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Manager as required, assisting with a variety of finance-related tasks and initiatives.
- Supporting project budgets, periodic forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Preparing and filing quarterly VAT returns.
- Involvement in the costing and pricing process.
- Adhoc project work.
- Reviewing balance sheet and other reconciliations prepared by accounts assistants.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA).
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience in process improvement and implementation.
- Ability to provide detailed financial insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project budgets and cash flow projections.
- Knowledge of VAT returns and compliance.

This will initially be a 12m-18m contract.
