Summary: The Interim Project Accountant role involves supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into a global finance team, requiring strong reconciliation and systems experience. The position is hybrid, necessitating local commuting 2-3 days per week, and is expected to last for 3-6 months. Key responsibilities include process documentation, month-end close support, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates must be available at short notice and commit to the entire project duration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the integration of newly acquired entities into the central finance team.
  • Develop and document finance processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Participate in month-end close activities and ensure accurate accounting entries.
  • Ensure compliance with central finance timetables and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Assist in general accounting tasks and prepare financial reports.
  • Collaborate with various departments for smooth integration and adherence to financial processes.
  • Identify issues and work on solutions during the integration process.
