Summary: The Interim Procurement Officer role is a three-month position within a Not-for-Profit organization, focusing on managing the procurement process for four key projects. The officer will develop and execute sourcing strategies, prepare contracts, and ensure smooth hand-over to Contract Managers. Immediate start and hybrid working arrangements are offered. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to established procurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the relevant Contract Managers
  • Oversee and manage the procurement process
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals
  • Work within established frameworks such as Crown Commercial Services, Procurement Partnership Limited, ESPO, and evaluate potential framework offerings for the projects
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Review existing contracts with suppliers and service providers
  • Forecast trends and market conditions for future projects
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations
