Summary: Cedar is seeking an Interim Procurement Manager for a Private Sector client in London, specializing in Travel and Events Management. This role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a maximum day rate of £450, with an expected duration of approximately six months. Cedar are supporting a Private Sector client, based in London, who are looking for an Interim Procurement Manager with a background in Travel and Events Management. This role is INSIDE IR35 offering a day rate up to £450 max. and will run for c6 months (potential to extend). The role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectations to go on-site 2 days per week. Please note this is an urgent requirement so ideally looking for candidates who are able to commence a role in c2 weeks.
The successful candidate will be responsible supporting a range of requirements in Travel and Events – you will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance and value for money. You will be responsible for onboarding vendors, managing due diligence, conducting audits in partnership and preparing detailed reports on sourcing performance, vendor compliance, and financial impact for key internal stakeholders.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- strong background in a similar role covering Procurement, Commercial, Sourcing or Category Management is required
- evidence of delivering compliance and value for money solutions for requirements in Travel and/or Event Management is required
- experience working with organisations in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and/or Pharma is required
