Job title: Interim Procurement Manager

Rate: 500 per day Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months initially

Working arrangement: Full-time, Hybrid (1 day in office per week).

Location: South-West

Overview:

On behalf of our local authority client, Panoramic Associates is seeking a Procurement Manager to work within Social Care on a hybrid working basis. The contract is an initial 3 months, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement life cycle within social care.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector regulations
  • Manage the bid tendering process.
  • Analyse current contracts to identify where improvements and savings can be made.
  • Develop and manage both supplier and key stakeholder relationships
  • Implement procurement strategies and frameworks.

Essential Experience:

  • CIPS qualification or equivalent
  • working with PCR regulations
  • Working in a procurement position
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Working within a local authority environment
  • Managing high-value procurement contracts
  • Experience of utilising procurement frameworks
  • Experience in a managerial procurement role.
