Key Responsibilities:

  • High-volume allocation of customer payments within Sage 200, ensuring absolute accuracy and timeliness.
  • Investigating unallocated cash, short payments, and debit notes while maintaining clear audit trails.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and monitoring AR ageing to flag overdue balances.
  • Managing the shared AR inbox and liaising with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve queries.
  • Assisting with month-end close, bank transaction postings, and aged debt analysis using Excel.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience using Sage 200 (or a similar ERP) is essential.
  • Ability to use XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and perform complex data manipulation in Excel.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, product-based, or retail/e-commerce environment is highly desirable.
  • AAT (qualified or part-qualified) or equivalent hands-on experience.

Morgan McKinley are partnered with a global consumer brand looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. This is a hands-on role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the "investigative" side of finance operations.

This role is an Interim Part Time position fully on site paying £130 - £150 a day doe.

Key Responsibilities

  • High-volume allocation of customer payments within Sage 200, ensuring absolute accuracy and timeliness.

  • Investigating unallocated cash, short payments, and debit notes while maintaining clear audit trails.

  • Reconciling customer accounts and monitoring AR ageing to flag overdue balances.
