Summary: The role is for an Interim NetSuite Accountant at a fast-growing B2C SaaS company in London, focusing on the transition from Xero to NetSuite. The position requires immediate start and involves ensuring successful implementation, optimizing month-end processes, and training internal finance staff. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to enhance financial operations and embed core processes. This is a short-term engagement with a clear goal of transition and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support NetSuite implementation by liaising with the implementation partner and internal stakeholders.
• Validate data migration, chart of accounts mapping, and reporting outputs.
• Oversee UAT, troubleshoot configuration issues, and ensure successful go-live.
• Implement standard SaaS revenue recognition principles and design month-end journal templates.
• Work with FP&A and Accounting to ensure alignment with ARR/MRR reporting.
• Assess current close process, identify bottlenecks, and implement quick wins.
• Define ownership matrix, checklists, and timelines for a 5-day close target.
• Improve reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis procedures.
• Develop clear documentation for finance processes within NetSuite.
• Train internal finance staff on new systems and controls.
• Provide a full knowledge handover to ensure self-sufficiency post-engagement.

Key Skills:

• ACA/CA-qualified (Big 4 trained).
• Proven Xero-to-NetSuite transition experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills (revenue recognition, SaaS metrics, month-end controls).
• Hands-on, systems-driven interim profile with a process improvement mindset.
