Summary: The Interim Managing Director role is a six-month fixed-term contract based in Glasgow, aimed at providing strong leadership following a comprehensive business review. The position focuses on operational improvements, strategic guidance, and establishing a foundational business structure to enhance efficiency and scalability. The successful candidate will engage with teams on-site to ensure consistent leadership and manage change effectively. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a full review of business operations across Protech.
  • Evaluate and document existing processes and daily operations.
  • Design and implement new business KPIs to support effective performance management.
  • Establish a foundational business structure for Protech, enabling improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to operational teams.
  • Implement new operating procedures to drive integration and commercial improvement.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to manage change and overcome resistance.
  • Ensure strong on-site presence in Glasgow to engage teams and ensure consistent leadership.

About the Opportunity:

Our client, an industry leading provider of bespoke energy solutions and water management services, are looking to appoint an Interim Managing Director due to a recent in-depth business review and the need for a strong interim leadership to stabilise and realign operations. This role will be instrumental in conducting a comprehensive business review, implementing key operational improvements, and supporting the groundwork for the future business plans.
