Summary: The Interim Management Accountant role is focused on supporting the finance function of a growing SaaS business during a critical phase of scale and reporting enhancement. The position involves ownership of the month-end close process and providing financial insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting, particularly within SaaS or high-growth environments. Immediate availability is preferred for this 6-month contract based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Full ownership of the P&L, including variance analysis and commentary
- Balance sheet reconciliations and control reviews
- End-to-end month-end close process
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting
- Preparing and presenting reporting packs to SLT
- Partnering with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial information
Key Skills:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven management accounting experience, ideally within SaaS, tech or high-growth environments
- Strong month-end and balance sheet control experience
- Comfortable communicating financial performance to senior stakeholders
- Immediately available or short notice preferred

A scaling growth-capital-backed SaaS business with c. £15m turnover is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support its finance function through a key phase of scale and reporting enhancement. This role will sit at the heart of the finance team, owning the month-end close and providing clear, accurate financial insight to senior leadership.
