Interim Management Accountant

Adele Carr Recruitment is partnering with an International Manufacturing business with reference to an urgent need for an interim Management Accountant.

The award winning business has had recent success of European growth and they have multiple locations worldwide.

The purpose of the interim role is to the support the business in their understanding of control and profitability of ongoing and future operations. Also, to support the development of business systems and their continuous improvements.

Key duties/responsibilities:

• Set up and preparation of key budget data and supporting the overseas Businesses in the budget process
• Monthly Model PBT reporting including commentary, DVP analysis and reviews with the Business Manager
• To develop and maintain a deep understanding of DVP movements and their effects on a particular division
• To provide support to the overseas Businesses to gain better understanding of ongoing operations
• Supporting the overseas Businesses with new project business plan modelling and maintenance
• Develop the understanding of DVP within the engineering division, with the main focus on the MCOGS movements and the associated reporting processes
• Project owner for the Engineering Division costing and commercial systems
• Other ad hoc management reports
• Carry out other comparable duties as required by the Line Manager

The successful applicant:

• (Part) Qualified CIMA or good technical knowledge/experience
• Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Competent in the use of MS Office applications and proprietary software
