Summary: The role of Interim Management Accountant involves supporting the Managing Director and taking ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts for two entities within a national construction company in North Manchester. The position is temporary, lasting 3 to 6 months, with a potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. The successful applicant will manage a small finance team and ensure the smooth transition of responsibilities from the outgoing Management Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Managing Director with ad-hoc projects.
• Take full ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts for two entities.
• Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Provide commercial support to senior stakeholders, both finance and non-finance.
• Support and manage a small finance team.
• Complete a hand-over from the current Management Accountant.

Key Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (QBE considered).
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the construction property sector preferred but not required.
• Ability to start within 2 weeks due to urgency.
