Summary: The role of Interim Management Accountant is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Leeds, offering a salary of up to £55,000 per annum. The position requires a qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant with experience in large business finance functions. The primary focus is on delivering accurate financial management information and collaborating with teams for comprehensive reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate month-end processes and timetables, ensuring accurate divisional reporting against Plan and Forecasts.
  • Analyse performance, report on margin performance, and oversee divisional costs.
  • Collaborate with Treasury to ensure accurate funding and cashflow reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a robust control schedule for balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and resolution of reconciling items.
  • Highlight risks or opportunities to the Group FC.
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts, providing input on assumptions and identifying potential variances.

Key Skills:

  • ACCA / CIMA Qualified
  • Available on short notice
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

We are looking for a Qualified Management Accountant with a background working in large business & busy finance functions. The primary responsibility will be to deliver accurate and timely financial management information for multiple divisions. This crucial role involves collaborating with a team to ensure comprehensive reporting, analysis, and reconciliation of divisional performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate month-end processes and timetables, ensuring accurate divisional reporting against Plan and Forecasts.
