Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Support month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, and cashflow reporting, providing meaningful financial insight
- Maintain and improve financial controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to support performance and profitability
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management
- Support audit processes and liaise with external advisors as required
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of management accounting and month-end processes
- Good technical accounting knowledge with exposure to balance sheet control
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
- Confident communication skills, comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Part-qualified, fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), or qualified by experience
