Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bookkeeping cycles including purchase/sales ledger, bank reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
  • Compile entity-level accounts from scratch using Xero.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, VAT, and corporation tax obligations for UK property-holding entities.

Key Skills:

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong experience in Xero.

An interim is required asap and then may go perm when the firm moves to Mayfair. My client has a significant portfolio of income yielding rental properties with no debt, The portfolio is currently managed by external accountants, but to give greater control the accounting is now being brought in house and will be dealt with by the Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will report to a very entrepreneurial and smart CFO We seek someone part qualification and decent early period experience in real estates side, large volume of SPV financials maintenance with end to end process, Over 3-4 years we would expect this person to grow into a finance manager it's simply real estate SPV end to end financial management and taking care of planning function of Friday vertical too – Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA – Demonstrable strong experience in Xero; confident building and compilation of entity-level accounts from scratch – Experience managing bookkeeping cycles end-to-end: purchase/sales ledger, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and month-end close – Prior exposure to real estate, SPV structures, or property finance preferred – Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to figures – Strong work ethic: self-starting, dependable, and comfortable in a lean, high-accountability environment Desirable – Experience in a family office, asset management, or multi-entity holding group – Working knowledge of Sage (for transition purposes) – Understanding of payroll, VAT and corporation tax obligations for UK property-holding entities Please note.
