Summary: The Interim M&A Consultant role focuses on supporting strategic transactions and integration efforts within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate due diligence across renewable and conventional energy assets
- Evaluate commercial, operational, and regulatory risks and opportunities across target companies
- Support valuation, modelling, and deal structuring—working closely with external advisors and internal teams
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, ESG, and Operations teams to plan and execute integration
- Prepare board-ready reports, investment memos, and executive briefings
- Provide strategic insight into sector trends, market dynamics, and emerging acquisition opportunities
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in M&A advisory, corporate development, or transaction services, ideally in the energy or infrastructure space
- Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory environments, and sustainability considerations
- Financial modelling and strategic analysis expertise
- Skilled communicator with the ability to influence at C-suite level
- Prior exposure to renewable energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
