Summary: The role of Interim Legal Counsel involves providing strategic legal support to a leading energy trading business during a 9–12 month maternity cover. Key Responsibilities:

I'm currently partnering with a leading energy trading business seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team on a 9–12 month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with strong experience in energy trading, commodities, gas and power markets to support a fast-paced commercial trading environment.
Key experience required:
- Negotiating and drafting EFET, ISDA, GTMA and other master trading agreements
- Experience supporting physical and financial energy trading activities
- Strong commercial and risk-management mindset
- Ability to advise stakeholders on complex legal and regulatory matters
- Previous experience as Legal Counsel, Attorney or similar
