Summary: The role of Interim HR Specialist involves supporting a client during a busy period while implementing Workday over an initial six-month contract. The candidate will engage in generalist HR activities, communicate with stakeholders, and build processes within Workday to meet business needs. A proactive approach is essential, as the specialist will also support ad-hoc projects and ensure effective system usage among employees and managers. The position requires immediate availability, ideally before the end of July, and will be through an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support generalist HR activities during the implementation of Workday.

HRLife are working with a client to find them an Interim HR Specialist for an initial 6 month period to support them during a busy period whilst they implement Workday. You'll be someone who can multi-task, roll your sleeves up, happy to take on varied tasks and turn your hand to most things whilst supporting with generalist HR activities as well as supporting with embedding Workday into the business. Communicating with stakeholders, you'll be understanding what the business needs with regard to the new system, building processes and templates in Workday to make it fit for purpose. Supporting the project manager, you'll have a great understanding of the system, be a 'do-er', make things happen to ensure employees and managers are using the system effectively. Supporting with ad-hoc projects too - experience of acquisitions and integrations, implementing and embedding other new systems too would be advantageous. Initially for 6 months, you'll be working through an umbrella company so someone who is available to start before end of July would be preferred.
