Summary: This role is for an Interim HR Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract, responsible for leading a small team and managing complex Employee Relations issues within a large healthcare organization. The position requires a strategic focus while overseeing daily HR operations and delivering effective HR services. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and is based in Halifax, Yorkshire. The successful candidate should be available to start soon and possess significant HR management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring delivery of efficient and effective HR services
- Manage complex casework
- Support HR team in Employee Relations
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Assess and anticipate HR-related needs, developing integrated solutions
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Key Skills:
- Proven working experience in HR management or other HR senior roles
- Excellent knowledge of employee relations
- Healthcare or public sector background would be ideal but not essential
- Proficient understanding of labour law and HR best practices
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to start in the next few weeks
