Summary: The Interim HR Manager role is a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Warrington, focused on delivering immediate impact through strategic HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Stabilise and accelerate a live transformation programme, aligning people plans to delivery milestones and commercial outcomes
- Diagnose and simplify core HR processes (ER, talent, OD, engagement) to remove friction and speed up decision-making
- Coach and challenge leaders to adopt pragmatic, pacey people practices that stick in the operation
- Own the data and narrative; use people metrics to focus effort, unblock issues, and communicate progress plainly
- Deliver quick wins while laying foundations for sustainable change (policies, comms, governance)
Key Skills:
- Retail or hospitality pedigree or similar environments with high volume, high velocity
- Strategic and hands-on capability; able to set direction and personally make things happen
- Independent initiative; comfortable working autonomously and making sound calls
- Sound ER and employment law judgement with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Data-literate and commercially minded, able to justify decisions and investments
