Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor in planning and executing change initiatives.
  • Lead strategic workstreams and people initiatives across the organization.
  • Create organizational design to attract talent and enable career pathways.
  • Identify areas for improvement in service delivery and foster continuous improvement.
  • Develop attraction and retention strategies for talent recruitment.
  • Utilize people data and engagement insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases with consistent policy application.
  • Collaborate with the Organisational Development team on talent and succession planning.

Key Skills:

  • CIPD Chartered Membership (Level 7) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience as an HR Business Partner during significant change.
  • Commercial understanding with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience in designing and implementing organizational structural change.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and managing complex employee relations.
  • Experience coaching leaders and implementing HR strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Evidence of using people data for strategic decision-making and improvements.

What you'll be doing

Working as part of the HR Business Partner Team, you'll play a pivotal role in our transformation agenda from day one. This is about making immediate impact while maintaining business-critical HR support during a crucial period of change.

  • Coach senior leaders and empower them to make informed decisions that drive business growth and improve team performance
  • Act as a trusted advisor in planning and executing change initiatives focused on achieving measurable outcomes
  • Lead strategic workstreams and people initiatives across Curo or within your specific business area
  • Create organisational design using our Operating Model principles to attract great people and enable career pathways
  • Foster continuous improvement by identifying and acting on areas for development in our service delivery
  • Develop attraction and retention strategies to recruit the calibre of talent needed for our transformation journey
  • Use people data and engagement insights to support strategic decision-making and create world-class engagement
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring consistent policy application
  • Collaborate with the Organisational Development team to implement talent and succession planning programmes

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who can hit the ground running. You're someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, bringing proven expertise to make immediate strategic impact. This isn't a development opportunity - we need someone ready to lead from day one and drive meaningful change during this critical 9-month period.

Essential:

  • CIPD Chartered Membership (Level 7) or equivalent professional qualification
  • Demonstrable experience as an HR Business Partner supporting leadership teams through significant change
  • Commercial understanding with ability to influence and challenge constructively at senior levels
  • Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing organisation structural change and operating model methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and proven track record managing complex employee relations cases
  • Experience coaching leaders to improve performance and implementing HR strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Evidence of using people data to support strategic decision-making and organisational improvements
