Summary: The role of Interim HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor involves supporting the Head of HR in managing employee relations cases and providing HR generalist advisory services on the Isle of Wight. The position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in HR policies, employee relations, and case work. This interim assignment is expected to last 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role. The role includes a hybrid working arrangement with four days on-site and one day from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary actions, performance issues, dismissals, and sickness management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide professional HR support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Deliver timely and responsive HR services, particularly in employee relations and resourcing.

Key Skills:

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor with a focus on HR generalist and employer relations case work.
  • CIPD Level 7 or Level 5 qualification, or equivalent recognized HR generalist experience.
  • Experience in HR policy development, employee relations, and staff development.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to promoting equality, diversity, and safeguarding.

Salary (Rate): £24
