Summary: The Interim HR Advisor role at a public sector client in Cheshire involves supporting HR Business Partners and managers during a period of change. The position requires a generalist approach to HR, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, and change management. The contract is for up to 6 months and requires an immediate start. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in HR within a unionized public sector environment and be CIPD qualified or working towards it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to management on a wide range of HR topics
  • Develop and update policies and processes
  • Provide expert knowledge and advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues, such as absence management, discipline & grievance, performance and capability, and change management
  • Analyse people data and produce meaningful reporting for key stakeholders showing trends, return on investment, and value for money
  • Work closely with the L&D team, supporting management in leadership development, advising, guiding, and coaching to identify gaps in training
  • Support in HR project work across the department

Key Skills:

  • Experience as an HR Advisor with vast experience of ER management
  • Experience in a unionized public sector environment
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Strong knowledge of HR topics and policies
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ashley Kate HR are pleased to be working with our Public sector client in Cheshire as they recruit an Interim HR Advisor, during a period of change. This contract will be for up to 6 months, based at their Cheshire site. This role will report to a HR Business Partner and sit on a HR projects team

The role will support a number of Managers and the team of HR Business Partners in a very generalist remit to include Employee relations, Recruitment and Change management,

  • Provide advice and guidance to management on a wide range of HR topics

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Advisor with vast experience of ER management, within a unionised public sector environment. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards. An Immediate start is required. This is a full time role, based in Winsford, some travel to other local sites may be required on occasion.
