Summary: The Interim HR Advisor role is a 6-month contract within a successful manufacturing and distribution company in Walsall, offering a hybrid working model. The position involves supporting both operational and strategic HR functions, reporting to the HR Director, and includes responsibilities such as employee relations, coaching, and managing HR projects. Ideal candidates should have a strong HR generalist background and be qualified to CIPD level 5 or 7.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on all employee relations casework
  • Coaching and mentoring line managers to deal with people matters
  • Mediating and resolving conflict
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of junior HR team members
  • Deputising for HR management/leadership as needed, including attending SLT meetings
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Managing HR projects and initiatives
  • Supporting the HR Director in embedding the people strategy

Key Skills:

  • Proven HR generalist background
  • Comfortable with both operational and strategic HR matters
  • Qualified to CIPD level 5 or 7
  • Ability to start at short notice
  • Willingness to commit to a 6-month interim assignment
