Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy for Risk, Resolution, Information & Legal Services aligned with organisational goals.
- Provide timely, practical legal advice ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement effective risk management processes.
- Advise senior leaders on legal and regulatory developments.
- Oversee legal matters including commercial agreements, partnerships, and trusts.
- Manage external legal providers for cost-effective expert advice.
- Represent the organisation externally and serve on internal committees.
- Lead and develop the team to ensure high performance and growth.
Key Skills:
- UK Qualified Solicitor with Commercial Contracts experience gained in Private Practice or In House environment.
- Senior-level legal experience in advising on a range of risk and compliance issues across the business.
- Strong risk management expertise.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Desirable Knowledge of Higher Education regulations.
- Experience in Higher Education or Public Sector.

My client are seeking an experienced Head of Legal to head their Risk, Resolution, Information & Legal Services function. This is a key role within the organisation offering an opportunity to make a significant impact by advising on Legal, Risk and Compliance Issues often with an international element. Contract: 12-month FTC

Salary: £93,000 - £120,000
Working Pattern: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
