Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the HR lead on acquisitions, managing all people and employment-related matters throughout the integration lifecycle
  • Supporting organisational design, identifying synergies, and delivering restructuring and redundancy programmes where required
  • Providing expert guidance on TUPE, employment law, and employee relations
  • Partnering with senior operational leaders to navigate complex people challenges during integration
  • Leading cultural integration to ensure alignment and engagement
  • Supporting and coaching leaders to manage change effectively and maintain positive employee experience
  • Playing a hands-on role in delivering integration plans and embedding sustainable people frameworks

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience leading HR workstreams in M&A or acquisition integration environments
  • Strong UK employment law expertise, particularly TUPE, restructuring, and employee relations
  • The ability to operate strategically whilst remaining hands-on
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting senior leaders through change

Interim Head of HR Integration - OUTSIDE IR35

Location: Nr. Crawley (2 days per week on site, 3 days from home)

Type: Day Rate Contract - 5 days per week

Scope: OUTSIDE IR35

Rate: IRO £600 per day

We are seeking an available, M&A experienced HR professional for this contract position to support our client through a mid-large size acquisition process. This role will lead on the integration process ensuring the successful transition, alignment, and optimisation of the newly acquired businesses from a people, culture, and organisational perspective. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary integration team, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver seamless integration and create the foundations for long-term success.

The Role

You will lead and support all people-related aspects of acquisitions, from initial transfer through to full integration and harmonisation.

  • Acting as the HR lead on acquisitions, managing all people and employment-related matters throughout the integration lifecycle
