HW Interim Solutions are supporting a prominent retail business in the North of England with the appointment of an Interim Head of HR / HR Director . This is a key operational leadership role, providing stability and hands-on HR delivery during a period of business change, offered as a 9 month engagement. The business is PE-backed and currently navigating a transitional phase. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the HR function runs smoothly and effectively, leading a small team without a clear second-in-command. The focus is on day-to-day operations, employee relations, compliance and people processes and will suit somebody can bring a calm, pragmatic approach and is happy to roll up their sleeves and provide steady, practical leadership.
