Interim Head of Health & Safety
£450pd - £500pd DOE (Umbrella/Inside IR35)

Occasional travel to UK offices and operational sites

The Role:
- Lead and support three specialist H&S teams, nine people in total
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex H&S, legal and compliance matters
- Oversee incident investigations, audits, risk assessments and H&S governance
- Provide expert advice and direction to senior leaders and operational teams
- Support continuous improvement across safety performance, processes and culture
The Person:
- Experienced Head of Health & Safety or senior H&S leader
- Proven experience leading and developing H&S teams
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and legal frameworks
- CMIOSH and NEBOSH Diploma essential
- Confident decision-maker who can remain calm under pressure and influence senior stakeholders
- CDM knowledge and experience within infrastructure, utilities, engineering, construction, energy or telecoms advantageous
