Interim Head of Financial Planning

The Client is looking for an experienced / strong Head of Financial Planning with significant LG experience.: It is a team of 3 currently, which will be increasing to 4.

This year, this authority has a balanced budget, giving them room to now look at housekeeping rather than finding savings. They will require:

• Someone that knows what good looks like in this area
• More focus on change and transformation; improving processes is critical
• The need to be positive, pragmatic and drive forward change
• Overseeing MTFS model, improving this and looking at how different budgets feed in
• Budget setting / budget review
• Statutory returns – RE/RO

Relevant professional qualification:: CCAB or equivalent Accreditation

Assignment length:: initial 6 months

Full time:: Hybrid – at least 1 day a week on site
