Summary: The Interim Head of Finance role is a critical leadership position within a Multi-Academy Trust in East London/Essex, focusing on ensuring financial stability and supporting educational objectives. The successful candidate will lead budget negotiations, manage the finance team, and establish commercial partnerships. Immediate availability is preferred for this full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on budget negotiations, budgetary control, and compliance across the Trust.
- Drive the planning, development, and monitoring of finance, technology, and premises functions.
- Manage and develop the Trust's finance team, ensuring high standards and efficiency.
- Establish commercial partnerships that deliver educational benefits for students.
- Provide strategic recommendations to support the Trust's long-term development.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, literacy, and numeracy at all times.
Key Skills:
- CCAB Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
- Previous experience in a school or Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) environment.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Immediate availability or short notice period.
Salary (Rate): £350.00 Daily
