Summary: This role is for an Interim Head of Finance responsible for leading a sophisticated finance function in a dynamic international environment. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and strategic thinking, with a focus on fostering a high-performing finance team. Key responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and employee finances. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership team, delivering accurate reporting, insights, modelling, and forecasting, while ensuring compliance, managing risk, and identifying efficiencies.
- Oversee monthly and year-end accounts, budgets, and forecasts; monitor performance; improve processes; and provide clear analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage reporting requirements across international offices.
- Oversee employee finances including payroll, pensions, and partner remuneration.
Key Skills:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
- 10+ years’ experience, including senior leadership and strategic finance roles.
- Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge of operational finance, business planning, statutory reporting, partner tax structures, payroll, and pensions.
