T2M have been appointed to recruit an interim Head of Finance to support the Managing Director and Regional Directors of a significant multi-site business. This highly commercial role will be for an initial period of 6-9 months with the possibility of becoming a permanent appointment.
We require a fully qualified accountant with demonstrable expertise in supporting (and challenging) a senior leadership team in a fast moving and competitive landscape business. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates that have worked within multisite operations in sectors such as Retail, FMCG, Construction. House Building, Logistics etc.
The ability to identify key business performance trends that contribute to margin improvement and profitability (from cost management to dynamic pricing, resource utilisation, stock, and competitor knowledge) are key, as is the ability to impact & influence decisions based on high quality data. You will work closely with the leadership team supported by central finance and insight analysts.
We are targeting a June/early start for this assignment that will require at least three days in the office (easy access from the M1/M6 ) with the flexibility to travel (UK) when required. This role is INSIDE IR35 so subject to PAYE. There will be a competitive PAYE day rate and potential performance/retention bonus.
