Interim Head of Finance (Adults & Health)

Brief role summary: This role will require the suitable candidate to;

• Lead on the closure of accounts for Adults and Health services,
• Ensure that income and expenditure accounts are accurate, all balance sheet items are reconciled and all holding accounts cleared on a regular and timely basis
• Ensure achievement of full monthly or quarterly closedowns of these service areas
• Ensure production and presentation of financial management information, budget monitoring, trading reports, financial models etc. which are accurate and timely and appropriate to the audience
• Oversee and deliver a comprehensive, high quality and professional finance business partnering service
• Foster a high-performance culture
• Improve value for money, efficiency and service delivery
• Develop and deliver an efficiency savings target for the service
• Lead on developing complex financial projects within and for the service’s departments

Assignment length:: initial 3 months

Full time:: Hybrid – 2 days a week on site
