Summary: The Interim Head of Data at e.surv Chartered Surveyors will lead the development and implementation of data governance and management programs within a dynamic data team. This role involves coordinating workstreams, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders to deliver innovative data products. The position requires a proactive leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive significant national impact through data initiatives. The role is for a fixed duration of 5 months and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Data Product Director with daily operations and broader strategy of the data function.
• Establish and drive Data Management and Governance programs.
• Develop and implement plans for the Data Management and Governance Programme.
• Perform gap analysis and build road maps to address identified gaps.
• Lead a multi-discipline team and manage project tasks including stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of programs and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Create and refine delivery plans and manage delivery backlog.
• Maintain project documentation and manage third-party contracts.

Key Skills:

• Project management using Azure DevOps.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Management concepts and frameworks.
• Data project management and change management expertise.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Full software development lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Experience in building and managing teams in a startup environment.
