Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the operations and management of the organization's communications and marketing functions.
- Ensuring marketing and communications are based on audience insight and evaluated against key metrics.
- Leading the planning and delivery of proactive and responsive marketing and communications across all channels – earned, owned, and paid.
- Identifying and managing reputational risks, advising on and enacting mitigation strategies.
- Being a proactive and collaborative member of the directorate, embodying the organization's values and leading by example.
- Supporting commercial development and opportunities for promotion, including competitor analysis and assessments of best practices.
- Providing strategic messaging for communications and campaigns.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a health membership or similar environment.
- Excellent experience of stakeholder engagement (internal and external).
- Strong writing skills.
- Experience in managing corporate communications, including media relations.
- Overseeing digital communications, including website content, email marketing, and social media strategy.
- Using analytics to drive engagement.
Salary (Rate): £69,000 yearly

- Lead the planning and delivery of proactive and responsive marketing and communications across all channels – earned, owned and paid
- Identify and manage reputational risks, advising on and enacting mitigation strategies
- Be a proactive and collaborative member of the directorate, embodying the organisations values and leading by example
- Support on commercial development and opportunities for promotion, including contribution to competitor analysis, assessments of best practice, and future opportunities
- Provide strategic messaging for comms and campaigns leading from the front.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Worked with a health membership or similar environment
- Excellent experience of stakeholder engagement (internal and external)
- Strong writing skills
- Experience in managing corporate communications, including media relations, overseeing digital communications, including website content, email marketing, social media strategy and use of analytics to drive engagement.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract paying up to £69,000 with a hybrid working policy in London (40% over the month)
