Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Commercial Finance function across multiple brands, acting as a key partner to senior leadership and the board.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning (including full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) across the group.
  • Deliver high-quality board reporting, providing clear insight on performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with merchandising and product teams on sales, margin and stock planning.
  • Drive investment appraisal processes, including business cases and post-investment performance tracking.
  • Support new business initiatives including commercial due diligence and onboarding of acquisitions.
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing commercial finance team.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong academic background.
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial finance role within a multi-site, multi-channel retail environment.
  • Strong track record of business partnering across senior stakeholders, including board-level exposure.
  • Deep experience in stock planning, sales forecasting and margin optimisation.
  • Advanced financial modelling capability across integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Commercially astute, analytical, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving business.

This is a pivotal leadership role, partnering directly with the CFO and senior stakeholders to drive commercial performance, strategic decision-making, and continued expansion across the portfolio.
