A private equity-backed marketing business is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Group Reporting Manager to lead several time-critical reporting and finance projects during a busy period.
This is a hands-on assignment focussed around capital expenditure reporting, while adding senior capacity to the existing group finance team.

An established, private equity-backed marketing business operating in a fast-paced and growing market.
The group has an experienced finance function supporting a broad range of commercial activity.
The business is delivering several group finance priorities alongside BAU reporting, with a key December deadline for its capital expenditure reporting workstream.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Interim Senior Group Reporting Manager will take ownership of capital expenditure reporting and manage the delivery of several cross-functional finance projects.
- Leading the capital expenditure reporting workstream and delivering the required outputs to deadline
- Producing accurate reporting on capital spend, commitments and variances
- Improving consistency, controls and visibility across capital expenditure reporting
- Managing the insurance renewal project, coordinating internal information and external stakeholders
- Managing the transfer pricing policy and supporting its implementation across the group
- Consolidating the VAT process from multiple to a single provider
- Preparing and reviewing group-level analysis, reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Building robust Excel models and reporting packs to support delivery
- Working closely with finance, tax and operational stakeholders to keep each workstream on plan
Your Profile
- Qualified ACA/ACCA with strong group reporting experience at a senior level
- Substantial capital expenditure reporting experience is essential
- Previous interim or contracting experience within a mid-market private equity-backed business
- Advanced Excel skills, including detailed reporting, modelling and reconciliations
- Proven experience managing multiple deadline-driven finance projects and senior stakeholders
- Practical exposure to transfer pricing, VAT or insurance renewal projects is highly desirable
Compensation & Benefits
This 6-9 month interim role offers a day rate of £500-£600, dependent on experience, and is inside IR35.
The position is based near Holborn and requires three days per week in the office.
It provides the opportunity to take ownership of several visible group finance workstreams while supporting an established team through a busy period.
