Summary: The Interim Group Management Accountant role is based in London and involves supporting the CFO of a rapidly growing Private Equity-backed software business. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals new to Private Equity to gain valuable experience while contributing to financial reporting, account reconciliation, and process automation. The role is temporary with the potential for permanent placement, starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the financial reporting team in compiling essential reports for management.
- Taking charge of clearing overdue accounts and resolving financial discrepancies.
- Contributing to the automation of various processes, including balance sheet and bank statement reconciliations.
- Managing cash flow effectively and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Providing comprehensive support for year-end procedures and audit processes, working closely with external auditors.
- Implementing best practices and driving improvements within the reporting function.
Key Skills:
- Accounting qualified.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
- PE experience is NOT needed.
