Interim Group Financial Controller

Key responsibilities

• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across multiple entities
• Lead group consolidations and ensure accurate, timely reporting
• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting
• Improve balance sheet controls, reconciliations and financial processes
• Integrate newly acquired businesses into group reporting processes
• Support the CFO with board, lender and investor reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing finance processes
• Provide leadership to a lean finance team whilst remaining hands-on

Experience required

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA required
• Strong Financial Controller / Group Financial Controller experience
• Previous PE-backed or highly acquisitive business experience
• Comfortable operating across multiple entities
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background
• Experience supporting integrations following acquisitions would be advantageous
• Able to join a fast-moving business and operate with limited hand-holding
• Immediate or short-notice availability required.
