Summary: The role of Interim Group Financial Controller involves overseeing financial management for a PE-backed infrastructure business, working closely with the CFO. This hands-on position requires managing financial operations across multiple UK and international entities, ensuring compliance and improving finance processes. The candidate will also be responsible for cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and payroll oversight. Strong experience in managing multi-entity structures and UK accounting regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day financial management and monthly management accounts across group entities
- Cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
- UK & international tax compliance
- Payroll oversight
- Intercompany accounting, entity records, and coordinating with auditors and advisors
- Strengthening controls and improving finance processes
- Partner economics, promote/carry tracking, and enhanced compliance over time
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing multi-entity group structures
- Strong UK accounting and regulatory knowledge
- International entity experience a bonus (Luxembourg particularly welcome)
- Strong HMRC reporting knowledge including ERS
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders

This is a hands-on role working closely with a CFO, taking ownership of financial management across multiple UK and international entities
