Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of consolidated statutory reporting under IFRS across multiple international entities
  • Preparation and review of technical accounting papers (leases, FX, revenue recognition, impairments)
  • Liaison with external auditors, ensuring smooth year-end delivery
  • Strengthening balance sheet controls and embedding robust reporting frameworks
  • Supporting monthly group consolidations and reconciliations
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for technical accounting queries across the finance team

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally practice trained (Big 4/top 10)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
  • Proven experience with multi-entity consolidations in an international group
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to add value quickly
  • Hospitality, leisure or consumer sector experience a plus (not essential)

Interim Group Accountant

London Based Office (5 days p/w on Site) | £350–£400 per day | 3–6 months

We’re supporting a leading international hospitality & lifestyle business with the hire of an interim Group Accountant. This is a technically focused role providing support across group consolidations, statutory reporting and audit delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of consolidated statutory reporting under IFRS across multiple international entities
  • Preparation and review of technical accounting papers (leases, FX, revenue recognition, impairments)
