Summary: The Interim Group Accountant role at a rapidly scaling Creative Agency Group involves managing financial operations and supporting strategic financial planning under the CFO's guidance. The position is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while contributing to the agency's growth from £10 million to £15-20 million in turnover. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for process improvements and collaboration across departments. This position is classified as Outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes alongside the Financial Controller.
• Oversee the AR/AP function and manage group recharges and intercompany reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making for the CFO.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external accountants and tax advisors.
• Prepare and review VAT returns across all agencies.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and best practices.

Key Skills:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience as a Group Accountant or similar role, ideally in an Agency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
