Summary: The Interim Group Accountant will support the financial operations of a rapidly scaling Creative Agency Group, reporting directly to the CFO. This role involves managing financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning as the agency aims to increase its turnover significantly. The position is hybrid, allowing for flexible remote work, and is expected to last for six months with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with relevant experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes alongside the Financial Controller.
• Oversee the AR/AP function and manage group recharges and intercompany reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making for the CFO.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external accountants and tax advisors.
• Prepare and review VAT returns across all agencies.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and best practices.

Key Skills:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience as a Group Accountant or similar role, ideally in an Agency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
