Summary: The Group Financial Accountant role is a pivotal position within a dynamic international business, ideal for a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant. The position focuses on financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement, requiring strong technical expertise and attention to detail. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage statutory financial statements for the Group, UK subsidiaries, and associated entities
- Support the year-end audit process, ensuring timely completion
- Oversee financial control frameworks and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
- Prepare and present monthly Group balance sheet reports to senior finance leadership
- Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and oversee key financial transactions
- Manage month-end tasks including intercompany settlements
- Coordinate international financial reporting
- Support financial projects
Key Skills:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA fully qualified accountant
- Experience in multi-currency group consolidation and financial statement prep
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP
- Experience producing statutory accounts and working with auditors
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
