Summary: The Interim Global IT Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in the Global Sourcing function of a leading Financial Services organization, focusing on IT procurement activities. This position involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to achieve effective sourcing outcomes across various IT categories. The role requires a strong background in IT procurement within regulated environments, emphasizing strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted procurement partner to senior IT, Technology, and business stakeholders, supporting both strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity across multiple IT categories, including software, IT services, hardware, and cloud/technology solutions.
  • Develop and manage key supplier relationships, driving value through effective negotiation, contract management, and performance governance.
  • Support IT category strategy development, demand management, and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Ensure sourcing activity aligns with Financial Services regulatory, risk, and third-party governance requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and IT Category Management, ideally within Financial Services or other regulated sectors.
  • Broad IT category knowledge covering software, hardware, IT services, and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior IT and business leaders.
  • Solid understanding of vendor management, commercial negotiation, and third-party risk.

Salary (Rate): £550 daily

Interim Global IT Procurement Manager Financial Services | London (3 days per week onsite) £550 per day | Inside IR35 A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking an experienced IT Procurement professional to join its Global Sourcing function on an interim basis. As Interim Global IT Procurement Manager , you will support a wide range of IT sourcing and category activities, partnering with senior technology and business stakeholders to deliver commercially robust outcomes across Software, IT Services, Hardware, and Digital/Technology spend within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted procurement partner to senior IT, Technology, and business stakeholders, supporting both strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity across multiple IT categories, including software, IT services, hardware, and cloud/technology solutions.
