Summary: The Interim Global Finance Shared Service Director will oversee finance operations within a Global Business Services (GBS) framework, managing a large international team across multiple territories. This role involves leading finance shared services, ensuring compliance, and driving transformational initiatives while collaborating with senior stakeholders. The position is on a fixed-term contract basis, requiring significant experience in finance shared services within a multinational context. The role also includes a focus on embedding new processes during a period of transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end finance shared services operations, covering payables, receivables, and month-end close.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance across global finance processes.
• Directly manage three Global Process Owners (GPOs), driving performance and process improvement.
• Support the implementation of a transformation and change agenda, focusing on delivery and execution (as opposed to design).
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure finance shared services aligns with broader organisational goals and milestones.
